What is the best thing about your job?
Every day is different. We scan a large quantity of documents and store enormous amounts of data. Managing the systems to do this efficiently can sometimes be a challenge, however I welcome this and get a great sense of satisfaction when the job is done.
What is important to you?
Uptime of our systems and networks, ensuring customers are always able to access their data and employees are never left waiting around while network problems are resolved.
What is the most interesting project you have worked on?
I am currently working on our online document hosting system which will allow customers to login to our website and search through their scanned documents based on search criteria defined by the customer.
What are your areas of expertise?
Computer systems, networks, programming, databases, backups & data management.
The company is growing, is that daunting?
I welcome the growth as I find it exciting. Technology is always changing so I am looking forward to what the future holds for Transmedia.
Any hobbies?
Out of work my main hobby is music. I enjoy listening, playing & creating music. My instrument of choice is a guitar, but I also play the drums. I play music with other people on regular occasions.
