After graduating from Swansea University in 2002 with a 1st in Computer Science, worked for 2 years as a computer programmer for Distinction Systems Ltd. Moved on to Transmedia to work on a KTP project in collaboration with Swansea University. Worked on the InteFlow project for 3 years before being offered a permanent role within the company.
Any hobbies?
Play Swansea league football and run a 5 a side league team. Enjoy socialising with friends and go to the gym regularly in an attempt to keep fit.
What is the best thing about your job?
The day to day variety of work, being a trusted/valued member of the team with responsibilities - in direct contact with customers, part of the quality team, involved in planning and managing jobs.
What are your areas of expertise?
Computer programming, project management, customer liaison and quality assurance.
What is the most interesting project you have worked on?
InteFlow, the company’s in-house web based CRM system which was developed over 3 years as part of a KTP project in collaboration with Swansea University.
The company is growing, is that daunting?
No, this will benefit everyone involved. It is refreshing to be investigating new technologies and systems which can help the company grow, such as InteFlow and WebBase/TMTConnect. I am glad to be working for a company which is looking to grow and is willing to invest its time and resources developing such ideas.
