Local Authorities Document Management

Electronic document archiving can cut costs for councils and local authorities by making it easier for officials to locate the information they need, whether that be planning applications, building control files, tree preservation orders or staff employment records.

We have the facility and manpower to cope with large archives running to hundreds of thousands of documents if required. Projects can run over periods of months or even years as the customer demands, and we have long term customers for whom we have covered several different departments' requirements.

It does not matter whether the documents are  large plans or on a microfiche, Transmedia have the data conversion technology to provide a solution.

Document databases or hyperlinked spreadsheets can be produced from scanned materials to catalogue the files and allow quick and easy retrieval as and when they are needed.  We also offer a simple, user friendly cloud solution to allow access via the web.

We can store archived material in our secure fire protected archive or collect and return material with our own secure fleet of vans. Regular collections are scheduled from a variety of locations across England and Wales, with daily collections all along the M4 corridor including Reading, Swindon, Bristol, Newport, Cardiff and Swansea.
